More than 20 volunteers with the Dallas-Fort Worth chapter of Gay For Good converged at Valley View Mall Saturday, July 19 in support of the local chapter of Dress For Success. The nonprofit organization, which has a retail location inside the mall, hosts a store-wide sale the third Saturday of every month that is open to public and helps raise money to fund its operations and education programs.
As part of the community service efforts, Gay For Good volunteers helped sort and steam clothing; organized racks of donated items; stuffed bags with personal care and other products; cleaned windows; swept, mopped, and vacuumed storefront, classroom, and back office areas; and painted the new lobby area.
