Hundreds of generous donors from throughout North Texas descended on the new University of North Texas at Dallas College of Law in downtown Dallas for the Legal Hospice of Texas‘ annual ”In the Heat of the Night” benefit.
The casino-themed event, which featured casino games, live entertainment, and a silent auction, raised money for the Legal Hospice of Texas, a nonprofit law firm that provides free legal services to low-income individuals who are terminally ill or HIV-positive.
Attendees included legal and other professionals — from civic leaders to local, district and federal judges — who came out in support of the organization that serves more than 800 people in 16 counties throughout North Texas every year.
